BRIC Foundation arranged its fifth Tree Plantation program in Satkhira Ditrict on 30th September, 2024. Around 2000 big (6-7 feet long) saplings were distributed in 8 villages of Pratapnagar Union of Sathkhira district. The program was organized on the district board road and saplings were planted on both sides of the road.
Mr. M. Muzibur Rahman, Principal, APS Degree College was the Chief guest on this occasion and distributed saplings among poor and needy.
Alhajj Abu Daud Dhali, Chairman of 10th Union under Pratapnagar was the main coordinator for the program. He thanked BRIC foundation for their efforts in improving the vegetation of the area.
Varieties of saplings including Mango, Betel nuts, and fruit tress were distributed.
