Program Details -

BRIC Foundation arranged its seventh Tree Plantation program in Satkhira District on 23rd June, 2026. Around 1000 big (8-10 feet long) saplings were planted on both sides of a three kilometer long road from APS Degree college to Trimohini Road of Assasuni Upozila of Sathkhira district.

Advisor of BRIC Foundation, Retired Secretary Mr. Ahmad Mahmudur Raza Chowdhury, Mr. Imran Ahmed Chowdhury – President BRIC Foundation, VP of BRIC Foundation Ms. Fowwara Chowdhury, Co Founders of BRIC Foundation Ms. Arshia Butul & Mr. Iftekhar Ahmad were present during the program.

Alhajj Abu Daud Dhali, Chairman of 10th Union under Pratapnagar was also present. He thanked BRIC foundation for their efforts in improving the vegetation of the area.

Various types of trees including Shirish trees were planted during this drive as this variety is good for the environment and grows very fast.
